Vintage Automobile Museum of New Jersey
Newsletter Vol. 1, Number 1
THE MUSEUM IS RECOGNIZED BY OFFICIAL SOURCES
The Vintage Automobile Museum is alive and well. The State of New Jersey granted the Museum a certificate of incorporation on July 17, 2000. The United States Internal Revenue Service approving our application to be a Tax Exempt 501c3 Nonprofit Organization followed the important first step. This was completed on March 28. 2002 by a concerted team effort of the Board of Trustees. On September 30, 2003, the Ocean County Freeholders recognized the Museum when they approved a financial grant for the Museum to promote tourism in New Jersey.
At present we are a "Museum on Wheels" working hard to secure the proper location for a permanent Museum structure. We now provide shows, parades, educational presentations and speakers by appointment. Our purpose is:
•To promote the means and opportunities to educate the public about antique
•To provide an authentic facility to display, preserve and store antique and classic automobiles and related artifacts to provide entertaining, educational and historical attractions.
•To provide for the expansion of tourism in New Jersey.
•To do all things suitable and appropriate to conserve, maintain, protect and restore antique automobiles and related artifacts.
We encourage new members to join the fun and excitement by calling 732-797-1456 or writing to us at PO Box 234 Beachwood, NJ 08722.
